I don’t think anyone was eating Doritos. It sounds like Steven’s beard is rubbing against his usb headset mic. But yes it’s pretty funny. I’ve interviewed Steven a couple times on TLLTS and he’s pretty witty. I’m sure he wouldn’t be offended with some constructive criticism.
People always bitch that podcats aren’t always professional sounding. Well most people aren’t professional sound engineers.

I know Steven J., too. He’s good cat. And he’s a SUSE Linux guy. If it were anybody but him, I wouldn’t have blogged something like that. But Steven can take it. And deal it back. You wouldn’t believe the hellfire I received for one of Steven’s articles, simply for saying that SUSE Linux would become more of a community distribution over time, and Novell Linux Desktop would become the business version.
Ultimately, the misunderstanding was proved right by the establishment of openSUSE.
