Yes, I am still around…

Thanks to those of you who have sent me messages of concern about my seeming disappearance from planet Earth. A mixture of recent personal and professional issues have eclipsed my outbound advocacy efforts of late.

Since I have been less prolific lately, maybe some would take interest in Seth Godin’s latest post about cult brands. No groundbreakingly new thought in the post, but if you ever wonder why some brands–like Ubuntu or Firefox–become so powerful, it helps to understand that appealing to people’s desire to believe in something often does far more in the long run than a mountain of business strategies and plans.
