I Shall Podcast Once Again

Filed under: Bungee Connect — Ted Haeger @ 6:00 am

The Bungee Line I hope that this is good news: I plan to return to podcasting!

Within the month of July, I hope to launch a new podcast. I won’t share the content specifics yet, but here is what I plan for the show’s attitude:

  • Serious technical content
  • Not-so-serious presentation
  • Solid audio quality
  • A nifty logo (cuz I need something to make my work look professional)
  • Alex Barnett co-hosting

That last item is going to be fun. Alex is very technical and extremely well-connected in the web world. You can check out some of his very raw but extremely interesting podcasts here. (I recommend the one on microformats as a good example.)

I’m very eager to get this going, and it will be one of my top priority projects as soon as I return from LugRadio Live.

Boston: eBay Developer Day

Filed under: Bungee Connect — Ted Haeger @ 10:23 am

I’m heading to Boston for eBay Developer Conference next week.

My comrades Alex Barnett, Brad Hintze and Lyle Ball will be there with me. We have a table in the vendor exposition area, where we will be discussing and demonstrating Bungee Connect.

If you are in the Boston area, I invite you to come say hello and check out our wares. Or, if expos give you an allergenic rash, drop me a comment or an email so that we can hook up.

Bungee Connect Opens to Beta Developers

Last night, from a hotel room in Sunnyvale, Alex, Brad, Lyle and I hit the send button on a small run of emails inviting our first wave of beta testers into Bungee Connect.

Meanwhile, the Bungee Labs website became the first Bungee-powered application ever rolled into production, becoming the first proof-point of our intrepid CTO’s grand vision.

High fives and sighs of relief mixed with no small amount of anticipation as each of us received a test invite, thus confirming that the send was a success. Alex cued a Black-eyed Peas remix of a classic Dick Dale piece to celebrate.
